Unseen Warfare

The battle lines between good and evil run through the heart of every man.

Make no mistake, we are at war.

At war with ourselves, at war with the world and at war with each other.

But this is unseen warfare,

And everyday, you dust yourself off and go to battle.

You see, wars aren’t fought ‘out there’ - the real wars are fought ‘in here’.

Behind all corruption is ultimately the corrupt individual, just as behind all peace is ultimately the peaceful individual.

We are quick to blame businesses, governments and institutions for our peril.

Forgetting that at the heart of every business

Every government

Every institution

And indeed every relationship, are people.

Humans fighting their own battles.

The odds are indeed stacked against you,

You are underprepared, out numbered, out gunned and often out smarted.

But yet, you still try to go it alone.

When there’s a whole army of angels ready to go into battle for you.

There’s not much of a choice, because avoidance does nothing but admit defeat.

The war rages on, with or without you.

So it’s wise to at least prepare yourself for battle and keep yourself focussed on the task at hand.

Remember that darkness does not drive out darkness,

Only light can do that.

Pain is often the shell that encloses your understanding,

So go into the pain.

And the wound, well the wound is the place where the light enters you.

So don’t shy away from the battle wounds.

They are unavoidable if you want to win the war.

And Never forget,

Good always wins in the end, so take up your Goodness and go to war!
