The Sun Doesn't Stop Shining

The sun doesn’t stop shining on the blind.

Just because we can’t see it, it doesn’t mean it’s not there.

It’s inevitable; life will get hard sometimes,

But what’s almost always guaranteed, is that the sun will keep shining

There is always a light at the end of the tunnel - hope endures.

It is not the absence of light that’s the problem; it’s the barriers we build within ourselves against it.

The mud flung at your eyes

The dirt which clings to your heart.

In the end, it all comes down to where you direct your attention

In clearing your eyes and purifying your heart

It’s where your focus ultimately lies, that will make all the difference.

In times of crisis, it’s very easy to lose sight of the bigger picture

To be blinded by the chaos, and deafened by all the noise

It’s easy to forget that the world was around well before you ever existed

And it will be around long after you’re gone.

It’s seen it all and yet, it lives on,
