Sometimes the only way for regeneration
Is to burn it all down
To let the dead bury the dead

To shed the many layers
To take off the many masks
And just lay yourself bare.

To stoke the flames with all clutter you’ve accumulated over the years
All the things
All the successes
All the failures
All the joys
All the pain

All the anguish and everything else that’s been allowed to rule you
Everything thats come to define you
And just watch it all burn,
let it all simmer and be reduced to ash.

Making fertile again the soil in which your seed was first planted
And then watch it grow again.
But this time, true to its essence
No pretence
Just the reality of everything that you are and everything that you can be –

Rise Phoenix rise.
For here comes that rain again.

Don’t look back in anger, maintain the hope And be determined to do things a little different.

  • Communication is not a one way street
Communication is not a one way street. It’s not about talking, it’s about listening. It’s not about reacting, it’s about responding. It’s not about knowing, It’s about understanding. It’s not about judgement or pretense It’s about connection.
  • Leaving it all behind
Some things are certainly worth holding onto -  Others we just hold onto because we are too afraid to say goodbye.  Not because we can’t But because doing so means facing our own mortality
  • Ahead of the game
It’s easy to play life on the back foot Always playing defence. Always waiting, always passive, always reactive.
