Becoming Minimalist

Updated: Jan 10

Minimalism, at its core, is really about creating some order out of chaos.

It’s about the stripping away of non-essentials, being able recognise things for what they are and making better decisions about the things that actually matter.

It’s not just about de cluttering your bedroom, but it’s also about de cluttering your mind.

It’s about knowing exactly what to let go of and what’s worth holding onto.

It’s about creating physical, emotional and mental space – so you can fill it with things that serve you better.

It’s about allowing for a fresh start everyday and being able to stay on top of things.

It’s about consuming less and producing more.

Having less also takes away unnecessary layers of complexity.

You’ll have less to manage and less decisions to make; which means you’ll have more time, more money and more energy.

You’ll be able to redirect your limited willpower to the things that matter.

You’ll feel lighter, more focused and life will suddenly feel more meaningful.

You’ll experience more gratitude and learn the real value of things.

In a world that seems increasingly chaotic, becoming ‘minimalist’ may just be what you need to start making better sense of the world around you.
